Do you get frustrated playing a hand of Solitaire Deluxe 8-Pack for Facebook over and over and over again just to beat your previous score? It’s okay to admit it. I’ll go first: yes I do this. I just can’t stop and all I really want to do is beat Jeff’s score.
Jeff is an artist at Mobile Deluxe and I always used to beat him.
Always.
Well, somehow (personally I think he signed a pact with a demon), he started beating my score. Everyday. It is driving me crazy. Not only because I’m competitive, it’s also because he sits across from me and taunts me. He’s so cruel. Well maybe I used to do this to him back when I was winning. Anyway, my point is that I find myself at home with my laptop playing solitaire hands over and over again while my cats stare at me, upset that my laptop is getting all my attention which should be focused on them. So, something had to be done, but what? Should I spike Jeff’s water with ipecac? Or should I try to win the honest way? Although the former would be fun, I went with strength of character. I began compiling all the tips for Solitaire Deluxe 8-Pack in one place and started playing with these tips in mind. So far I have beaten him once and I’m going to keep trying. I’m going to start giving these tips to you now so you can better your game. But I have a hidden agenda as well. Yes, I want you to improve your game but I also want to issue you this challenge:
Beat Jeff Holmes. Everyday.
I will thank you and my cats will thank you.
Here are the first two tips:
1) On your Pyramid games, you can actually take a sneak peek at your next move! Just slide the top cards on the bottom piles left or right to see underneath the top card, all without getting penalized.
2) But be mindful of your time! All games lose points the longer you take to play the game.
